4's Class: The Explorers
Named for the fact that four- and five-year-olds thrive in an environment that encourages hands-on exploration, the fours class is called “The Explorers."
In the Explorer’s class, we build on the love of learning developed in the 2's and 3's classes and further increase opportunities to grow through play. We tailor our curriculum to “pull the thread” of each child’s particular interests to build skills and expand their understanding of the world around them. Through playful experiences, we explore cause and effect, foster independence and belonging, foster social competency, grow friendships, and develop foundations in mathematical concepts, language skills, and early literacy.
We strive for every Explorer to “graduate” from our class with curiosity, confidence and a life-long love of learning.
