2's Class
Our 2's class provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where the children can follow their natural inclination to learn through play. Under the supervision and guidance of their teacher and two co-oping parents, the children learn to develop trust in caring adults outside their home. This is often the first school experience for the children and we strive to provide a comfortable, relaxed and happy environment.
The 2's classroom is equipped with a wide variety of attractive, inviting, age-appropriate materials.
The children choose their own play and are given ample time to play both indoors and outdoors. The daily schedule is predictable, but maintains the flexibility to accommodate the children's individual needs and interests.

8:55 – 9:15 Co-opers arrive & assist in set up for the morning
9:15 – 9:45 Children arrive, outside on playground weather permitting *Start morning inside if weather dictates* 9:45 – 10:45 Free play, art activities 10:45 – 10:55 Clean up 10:55 – 11:00 Hand washing, toileting as needed 11:00 – 11:15 Snack (provided by the co-oping parent) 11:15 – 11:30 Circle Time activities, movement, music, story 11:30 – 11:45 Outside play, dismissal at 11:45 |
