2's Class Teachers
Ranya Jouni
2's Class Teacher
Ranya is thrilled to join the GPNS team as a 2’s teacher, working alongside Mikaela. Two of her children are proud GPNS alumni, and GPNS holds a very special place in her heart. It was her second child’s first American school experience, just one month after moving to the United States from France. Through that experience, Ranya fell in love with the co-op philosophy and the opportunity it offers families to be actively involved in their children’s education, especially after homeschooling her first child in France.
Ranya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and began a Master’s degree in Neuroscience. When she became a mother, she grew deeply fascinated by how children’s brains develop and learn. This passion led her to earn a Montessori certification in France for children ages 3–6. She enjoys reading about different teaching philosophies and learning how education systems around the world support young learners, continually expanding her knowledge and perspective.
In her spare time, Ranya loves baking for her family and friends, doing crafts with her children, and reading. She is truly excited to be part of your child’s teaching team and looks forward to supporting each child’s growth with care, curiosity, and enthusiasm
