Sarah Rubin
Director and 3's Class Teacher
Sarah is the 3’s Class Teacher, as well as the GPNS Edcuational Director helping to develop the school’s play-based academic program and support families. Prior to GPNS, Sarah taught Kindergarten and 1st Grade in Arlington Public Schools.
As a teacher, Sarah is a lifelong student. “I never stop reading, researching, and finding ways to make early childhood education the best experience it can be.” She enjoys being a part of children’s earliest educational experiences and getting them to think outside the box. Her children also attended co-op nursery schools providing her with invaluable experience.
As the 3’s Class Teacher, Sarah promotes exploration, observation, and play, and she utilizes nature in all ways possible. She holds a Master of Education degree from George Mason University with special interest in Teaching English as a Second Language, Early Childhood Special Education and Early Childhood Education.
