Dear Crafter:
The Garrett Park Nursery School (GPNS) is pleased to invite you to participate as we celebrate our 41st Annual GPNS Craft Fair. This year's event will be held on November 16-18, 2007 in its traditional location at the Garrett Park, MD Town Hall.

GPNS is a parent-run cooperative school for 2, 3, and 4- year old children in Garrett Park, Maryland. Each year the school hosts an annual fundraising craft fair event that is attended by over 1000 people within the community.
On Friday, November 16th at 7:00pm we are hosting our traditional preview reception at the Town Hall. GPNS parents, alumni, staff and friends will have a "first look" opportunity to be able to purchase crafts in advance of the public, and of course crafters are invited to this event as well. The Fair will be open to the general public from 10am to 5pm on Saturday AND Sunday, November 17th and 18th.
As always, this is a "drop fair", so your presence is welcome but not required during sale hours. On Friday, November 17th from 3 to 5 pm, you may set up and/or drop off your merchandise. At that time you will need to give us a copy of your complete inventory, keeping another copy for your records. Please review and use the attached "Inventory Guidelines" document that outlines instructions for ensuring an accurate total of your goods sold at the fair. Your accuracy in following these guidelines allows us to correctly calculate total sales at the end of the event.
During the fair, GPNS parents will staff the craft fair floor assisting customers, restocking tables, and collecting all monies and taxes for you. While we are vigilant in seeking to prevent theft or damage to exhibitors' merchandise during the fair, GPNS may not be held liable for stolen or damaged items. Fortunately, these problems have not featured prominently in previous GPNS craft fairs.
Since the craft fair is the nursery school's major annual fundraising event, GPNS assumes a 25% commission on all sales. Exhibitors do not need a tax number to participate. We will continue to accept MasterCard and Visa payments in addition to cash and personal checks. GPNS will provide display tables but please bring your own tablecloths to ensure an attractive display and to hide inventory stored underneath. Inventory check out will be from 5-6:30P on Sunday, November 18th.
We are excited to make this year's craft fair the best ever and hope you will participate. To guarantee your space, please fill out your registration form and return it along with a $15.00 table fee by Saturday, September 15, 2007. Registration after September 15, 2007 will be $25.00 per table.
